Upholstery

JimmyTwoSocks Creative offers vehicle upholstery for cars, bikes and lorries. We specialise in retrimming seats using leather, vinyl, alcantara and fabric.

Custom stitching patterns can be added and even custom embroidery.

Which material should I choose?

Leather is a premium product which is comfortable and plush. It can last for years providing it is properly cared for.

Vinyl is a plastic like material which can come in smooth or leather pattern and is often chosen over leather due to price point.

Alcantara is a synthetic suede substitute. Unlike Suede it is harder wearing but not a great choice for external use.

Fabric is the cheapest solution but offers the most versatility. It can be ordered in a wide range of colours and patterns.

Care and Repair

Care

Has your leather become cracked or worn? At Jimmy’s we are able to repair cracks and small tears, painting it and protecting it.

Repairs

Has your leather work away beyond restoration? We can replace areas with replacement panels. We have a wide range of fabrics and materials in stock.

Adjustments

We can adjust motorbike foam seats to be higher or lower. We can even add a gel pad for cushioning.

Embroidery

Currently limited to 10cm x 10cm, we can provide just embroidery featuring multiple colours. Providing the logo is flat and not too complex, we can pretty much use any design. Great for that personal touch!

When there is no pattern...

I'm happy to work with you on your ideas, my customer with her T25 camper named "Ruby" had come to me first and foremost to have the seats upholstered and then asked if it was possible to make something to be able to put her duvet and mattress topper in vacuum bags and hide them and to cover the porta loo so that doubles as a seat now too,

all newly upholstered and now a matching board covered and with pockets in the same vinyl and removable shelves.
